Jack Fuller grew up in the weaving town of Paisley, in the west of central Scotland. He graduated from Glasgow School of Art. He has been a teacher, traveller, author and therapist.

In his figural work he combines vibrant colours, and muted narrative tableau: his recent images are meant to be read as "situations," with the viewer left free to devise his or her own scenography.
